President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has announced plans for a second industrial park in the Bunyoro Sub-region.

This will be dedicated exclusively to agro-processing, as government intensifies industrialisation and job creation in the Albertine region.

Addressing a campaign rally at Booma Grounds in Hoima City on Thursday 11th December 2025, Museveni said the new facility will operate separately from the Kabalega Industrial Park, which focuses on petroleum-related industries.
