The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has instructed all stakeholders intending to travel for the Uganda Cranes’ Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 group stage matches in Morocco to immediately express their intention to purchase match tickets before November 18.

In a statement issued by FUFA Chief Executive Officer, Edgar Watson on November 5, 2025, the federation noted that only those who formally submit their intention and make full payment within the stipulated timelines will be guaranteed tickets for Uganda’s group fixtures.

Watson said the early communication follows official guidance from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding ticket purchase rights and deadlines for AFCON 2025 group stage matches involving the Cranes.

“FUFA received communication from CAF specifying the purchase rights and deadline for AFCON 2025 match tickets. We therefore request all stakeholders intending to attend Uganda Cranes group stage matches to formally express interest and pay so that tickets can be booked through FUFA before the CAF deadline,” he stated.

Watson further emphasized that priority would be given to those who pay first, adding that only official letters of intention accompanied by full payments will be processed. He clarified that cash payments will not be accepted.

Uganda will face Tunisia on December 23, Tanzania on December 27, and Nigeria on December 30, 2025.

According to CAF’s ticket allocation, each fixture will feature three categories: Category 1 at 300 Moroccan Dirhams (MAD), Category 2 at 200 MAD, and Category 3 at 100 MAD.

However, Watson stated that stakeholders must notify FUFA and complete payments to the designated FUFA Bank account by Tuesday, November 18, 2025, no later than 5:00 p.m. The bank details will be shared with confirmed applicants.

FUFA also reminded all fans that a Fan ID is mandatory for stadium access and can be obtained individually through the Yalla app.

The federation will not handle visa processing, flight bookings, or accommodation arrangements, advising travelers to manage these independently through the official online platforms.
