FUFA Drum Quarter Finals Out! Check Dates, Venues for Match Days

FUFA’s Competitions Department revealed the quarter-finals will be played over two legs, adding that the first leg is scheduled for 21st and 22nd March 2026 and the return leg will follow on 28th and 29th March 2026.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has officially released the fixtures for the FUFA Drum 2025 quarter-final stage.

FUFA’s Competitions Department revealed the quarter-finals will be played over two legs, adding that the first leg is scheduled for 21st and 22nd March 2026 and the return leg will follow on 28th and 29th March 2026.

In the first fixtures, the opening leg will see host regions seek to gain a crucial advantage in front of their home supporters.

According to the FUFA competitions Department, Bunyoro will host West Nile on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Royal Park Butema in Hoima, Acholi will host Busoga on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Booma Stadium in Kitgum, and Teso will face Lango on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Soroti Grounds in Soroti. Buganda will take on Tooro on Sunday, 22nd March 2026 at Lugazi Stadium.

Each of these encounters is expected to attract significant support as regional pride and progression to the semi-finals remain at stake.

In the return leg fixtures, matches will be played a week later, with venues reversed to ensure each team enjoys home support.

West Nile will host Bunyoro on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Green Light Stadium in Arua, and Busoga will host Acholi on Saturday, 28th March 2026, at Saza Grounds in Iganga. Lango will host Teso on Sunday, 29th March 2026, at a venue yet to be confirmed. Tooro will host Buganda on Sunday, 29th March 2026, at St Paul’s Seminary in Fort Portal.

Meanwhile, the FUFA Drum tournament continues to stand out as a unique competition that blends football with cultural heritage, uniting communities across the country through sport.
