When Elle Trivia Muhoza’s name was announced as the winner of Miss Uganda 2025/26, the crowd erupted into thunderous applause, with many waving placards bearing her face. Muhoza, visibly moved to tears, was escorted to the stage, where she was crowned and presented with her bouquet.

At just 22, she now wears the prestigious crown of Miss Uganda 2025, a title she has embraced not just as a personal victory, but as a platform for change. She takes the reign from Natasha Nyonyozi, Miss Uganda 2024/25.

Born on 19th October, 2002, Muhoza hials from Butanga Village in Butenga Parish, Bukomansimbi District, Uganda. Her journey is a testament to determination and resilience.

Muhoza’s educational path took her from Nakasero Primary School to Namirembe Infants, Namirembe Parents, Seroma High School, and Kisubi High School. Yet, her ambitions extended far beyond the classroom, soaring high, quite literally, as she reached for her dreams.

Drawn to the skies, she enrolled at the Uganda Aviation Academy, excelling to become the best student in 2024. Her brilliance was further recognized with a Merit Award from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

For Muhoza, aviation was more than a career choice, it was proof that young Ugandan women can reach for spaces often thought to be beyond their grasp and male dominated.

The 2025 Miss Uganda pageant, themed “Beauty with a Purpose”, was a dazzling showcase of culture, talent, and intellect. But Muhoza stood out. Her confidence radiated during the Q&A session, where she spoke passionately about girls’ education and support for young mothers.

In the talent segment, she wowed the audience with a powerful spoken-word piece on women’s resilience, earning a standing ovation.

Judges described her as “a rare mix of beauty, authenticity, and vision.” When her name was called, the crowd erupted, not just in celebration of her beauty, but of the promise she carries.

Beyond pageantry, Muhoza is a rising entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Elle Lip Care, a beauty brand that has begun to attract attention.

Her commitment to entrepreneurship is matched by her passion for giving back through her initiative, EMU (Empowering Mothers in Uganda).

She is also deeply committed to women’s empowerment, with a focus on:

  • Education for girls in rural areas
  • Mentorship for teenage and single mothers
  • Encouraging women to pursue male-dominated fields like aviation

Her flagship project, “Wings of Hope,” will provide vocational training and mentorship for vulnerable young women, inspired by her own journey in aviation.

And the journey does not stop at home. Later this year, Muhoza will represent Uganda at Miss World 2025, carrying with her not just the Ugandan flag, but the dreams of millions of young women.

Social media buzzed with excitement after her crowning. Fans called her the queen of substance” while former Miss Uganda winners praised her humility and focus. For Muhoza, the crown is not an accessory, it is a responsibility.

“My dream is to see a Uganda where every girl believes she can fly whether in aviation, education, or life itself,” she declared in her acceptance speech, a line that instantly became her signature.

Away from the glitz, Muhoza is down to earth. She finds joy in fashion, swimming, novels, and podcasts, especially those about leadership and growth. She credits her mother as her greatest inspiration, calling her the anchor that keeps her grounded.

Beyond her reign, Muhoza envisions a future that combines aviation and advocacy, inspiring women to take on careers in the skies while staying rooted in community impact.

She dreams of launching initiatives that not only mentor young women but also prepare them to thrive not only in Uganda but on global platforms too.

With her crown shining and her vision soaring, Muhoza is more than Miss Uganda 2025, she is a symbol of possibility, a reminder that every Ugandan girl can dream, rise, and fly.
