On December 15, 2024, a VIP concert titled Lord Fred Sebatta at 42 Years was held at Serena Hotel, Kampala.

Organized by music promoter Mariam Watongole, alias Biggie Events, Sebatta was promised 110 million shillings but received 70 million.

Despite the promoter incurring losses, Sebatta’s demand for the balance escalated into a public feud, with a video of him cursing Watongole circulating online.

Promoter Abte labeled Sebatta “ungrateful,” citing his history of being difficult to work with.

He notes that this persistent controversy adds to the growing perception of Sebatta’s prioritization of money over relationships.

Fred Sebatta, once celebrated as a legendary Kadongo Kamu artist, hasn’t not responded to the allegation.
