Former FDC Youth Leader Denmark Beinomugisha Dies in Mbarara After Tragic Fall

Denmark Adious Beinomugisha, a former guild president of Bishop Stuart University, ex-youth leader of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), and aspiring Member of Parliament for Mbarara City South under the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) party, tragically passed away on August 7, 2025.

According to reports, Beinomugisha died at Mayanja Memorial Hospital in Mbarara following a fall from the stairs at the Grand Holiday Hotel the previous evening.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fall remain unclear, and no official statements have yet confirmed whether the incident was accidental.

The Forum for Democratic Change confirmed his death in a statement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing deep sorrow.

“We are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Denmark Adious Beinomugisha, former FDC Youth Leader. He died this morning following a tragic fall. Denmark was a passionate and dedicated voice in our struggle. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones,” the post read.
