The English Premier League remains unpredictable this season, with just three games to go to determine who the winner will be.

Arsenal, who are in good form, can only win the league if they win their remaining two fixtures, one against their rivals Manchester United and the other against Everton, on the last day of the season. Pray that second-placed Manchester City drops points by either losing a game or drawing one of their remaining three games.

Arsenal, who have so far played 36 games, are at the top of the table with 83 points, having played one more game than second-placed Manchester City with 82 points at a slim goal difference of 6 goals.

According to sports journalist and former Manchester United captain Gary Neville, Arsenal’s chance of winning the league will be decided by the game against Manchester United on May 12, 2024, at Old Trafford.

“I think they will achieve a 100 percent record. The one doubt is the Old Trafford game. It will all depend on how City does in the next week or two as well,” Neville said.

Last season, Arsenal finished second with 84 points, only 5 points behind Man City, and this season, if both Arsenal and Man City win their remaining matches, Arsenal will finish in second place with 89 points and two points behind Manchester City with 91 points, a good improvement compared to last season.

Former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane, who now works as a football commentator, thinks Manchester City are more likely to win the trophy and have had a good performance, and it’s most likely they can’t miss out on maximum points to carry the trophy.

“It’s the same old story with City, even when they are not at their best. They know how to win football matches; they have good options off the bench, and they have gotten into a really good habit of winning matches in recent years,” Keane said.

Pep Guardiola is aiming to win his sixth Premier League title in seven (7) seasons at the club. With his recent exit from the UEFA Champions League, his team is now focused on the Premier League before they return to Wembly for an FA Cup final showdown against city rivals Manchester United on May 25, 2024. By then, they hope to have already secured the league title, which comes to an end on May 19, 2024.
