Ibrahim Musana, a 27-year-old Ugandan commonly known as Pressure 24/7, has been granted a two million cash bail by the Buganda Road Court.

His Worship (HW) Ronald Kayizzi, the Buganda Road Court Chief Magistrate who granted bail to Pressure 24/7 on April 29, 2024, said that he was granted bail because he had been detained for more than 60 days without trial.

“In case of an offense, which is trial by the High Court as well as by the Subordinate Court, if that person has been remanded for 60 days before trial, then the person shall be released on bail on certain conditions as the court considers reasonable,” Kayizzi said.

Kayizzi warned him against using the names of the President of Uganda, the Kabaka of Buganda, and the Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, Joyce Ssebugwawo, the Minister of State for Information, Communication Technology, and National Guidance, among others, lest his bail be revoked.

“He should not mention the names of his royal highness the Kabaka of Buganda, His Excellency the President of Uganda, Anita Among, and Joyce Ssebugwawo in any of his social media handles until his case is heard, a breach of which his bail will be cancelled,” Kayizzi added.

Musana was arrested on February 19, 2024, following videos where he filmed himself and posted on TikTok, abusing and attacking the personalities of the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, and the Katikiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga.
