Renowned Congolese musician Fally Ipupa is coming to Uganda for his first visit and is set to hold two music concerts in Arua and Kampala, respectively, next week.

The much-anticipated concerts will take place on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Arua Hill Stadium in Arua and Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala.

The multi-talented Congolese singer, songwriter, dancer, philanthropist, guitarist, and producer, Ipupa, will mesmerize his Ugandan fans with his vocals and energetic stage performance, which have gained him international acclaim for his unique blend of Congolese rhumba, soukous, and Lingala music.

In Arua City which shares an international border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Ipupa is expected to lit Arua Hill stadium with his entertainment instincts. The area known for harboring a large Lingala fan base.

The second show  will be held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

The event, which has been organized by Malembe Lifestyle will help raise funds for charity to support the activities of Children of Uganda, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that empowers and educates vulnerable orphaned children.

Ipupa is known for his songs like Inama, a song he sang with Diamond Platnumz, Eloko Oyo, Bloque, Mayday, Mal accompagne, and many others.

However, this is not the first time Fally Ipupa has been booked to perform in Uganda. He was supposed to do so in December 2019 but failed to turn up, and the organisers revealed that the singer missed his scheduled flight to Kampala, hence his failure to perform.
