Talented Ugandan youngster and Express FC forward Alpha Thierry Ssali is currently showcasing his football skills in trials with Khaled Catalunya Management in Spain.
The 21-year-old son of renowned Ugandan musician Moses Ssali, widely known as ‘Bebe Cool, is undergoing these trials to assess his skills, fitness, and potential for a professional football career.
Bebe Cool voiced his enthusiasm and undaunted hope on the results of trials and the ability of his son, Alpha.
“The trials represent an important step in Alpha’s football journey, and the family remains optimistic about his development and future opportunities,” he said.
Through his social media, Bebe Cool clarified that Alpha will return to Uganda upon completion of the trials and will finish the season in the Uganda Premier League (UPL).
“Any rumors that he has signed with a Spanish football team are unjustified, premature, and speculative,” Bebe Cool said.
“We urge fans and supporters to disregard speculative reports suggesting Alpha has signed with a Spanish football club. These claims are premature and inaccurate,” he added.
Earlier this month, Alpha had already agreed to terms with four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC and joined the seven-time UPL champions at the start of last season.
