Party-goers within the Greater Kampala Metropolitan area will once again have something to rekindle their memories if the words on the streets are to be real.

The latest that has reached our entertainment desk is that three top musicians are set to hold concerts on the same day at the same venue.

According to the source, Queen Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu are both slated to hold their concerts on September 15th at Kololo Independence Grounds, while Dance Hall master King Michael will be rocking Lugogo Cricket Oval the same day too.

Cindy Sanyu, who is also the President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), announced her concert on Monday, July 17, 2023.

The two artists have been rivals for a long time, exchanging words and dissing each other in their songs.

Sheebah Karungi has, however, remained quiet about the clash of dates and venues with Cindy.

“Cindy said that she will be staging a mega show dubbed “The King herself concert” to celebrate her music career and achievements,” according to the source.

King Michael has since termed this an attempt to frustrate his upcoming concert, which he announced sometime back.

“This is truly unfair. I announced my concert a long time ago, but these two ladies have decided to frustrate me by choosing the same date. While I understand they may have personal issues, I appeal to them not to ruin my day because of their conflicts,” said King Michael.

On June 9, 2023, singers Pallaso and Alien Skin performed successfully and drew their respective crowds.
