In an Afro-exclusive concert, Congolese soukous singer, composer, songwriter, and dancer Awilo Longomba, real name Louis Albert William Longomba, and Nigeria’s singer and songwriter Chike (Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka) are set to perform in Kampala alongside the Abeeka Band in Uganda.
The concert, dubbed “Afro Exclusive Concert,” will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The 62-year-old Longomba is known for his songs like Karolina, Bundelele, Mobimba Ya Mama, Porokondo, Bizou, Fifi, Champion, Mwana Mama, Africa, Kwanga Pamba, and many others.
Chike, on the other hand, is known for his songs like Running, If You No Love, Insecure, Out of Love, Loco, Egwu, Roju, Man Not God, Watching Over Me, Pour Me a Drink, On Fire, Enough, My Africa, Nwoke Oma, to mention but a few.
The fan lovers will part with Ugx 10,000 early bird, Ugx 150,000 at the gate, Ugx 3M for VIP, and Ugx 6M for VVIP entrances.
It is not the first time that the two artists have visited the Pearl of Africa to thrill their fans. The two great musicians have promised an epic evening where music lovers will dance to the soukous, afrobeat, and lingala blends of music.
